BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, Mar. 7, CMC – Operations at the Grantley Adams International Airport (GAIA) are now returning to normal after the country’s airspace was closed early Saturday.

A statement from GAIA said the  airport reopened at 2:30 p.m (local time).

It’s reported that the  disruption was linked to industrial action.

Passengers have been advised to check with their respective airlines for updates on the status and timing of their flights.
