PARAMARIBO, Suriname, Mar 11, CMC -Defence lawyers have called on the court to acquit seven police officers after the Pubic Prosecution Service (OM) had earlier indicated that it is seeking a 12 -month suspended jail sentence as well as a three-year probationary period for the officers in the so-called Pikin Saron case.
