According to Lori Weatherhead, Team Leader of the CMC, this partnership is a strong strategic fit, which leverages both organisations’ strengths while providing added value in online streaming of CaribVision’s programming.
She explained that her organisation embraced this partnership idea, as ComeSeeTv has already partnered with strong industry leaders, and many regional streaming service providers are already using ComeSeeTv to deliver video streaming services to their clientele.
“This is another solid step in our journey which further expands the CaribVision brand to reach online viewers and build on our foundation to solidify our position as the leader in Caribbean television. This is an opportunity for CaribVision’s programming to be accessible in those markets where CaribVision is not seen on cable. I am hoping that this new partnership will spark innovation among content providers. ComeSeeTv has demonstrated to us the ability to leverage resources and expertise and we are extremely excited to partner with them and combine our efforts to serve a wider audience” said Mrs. Weatherhead.
Lindsay George, CEO of ComeSeeTv International, explained that ComeSeeTv is a unique concept in online paid video content and video sharing. “It is not only that but also has social network features where some can make friends, send them videos and private messages; and allows others to access powerful ecommerce features.” He added: “Our partnership with CMC creates a strengthened alliance which provides them with the tools and support to further advance CaribVision in today’s dynamic television environment and maintain a competitive advantage over market players. It will now be much easier for anyone with content to get paid for access to it, and yet ComeSeeTv is not designed to compete with local streaming service providers in any country, as our primary business is content delivery.”
